The 2 legged members of the pack

Madison Piggott

Madison grew up in Eastern Ontario, in 2022 she moved here with nothing but her dog Nova and what she could fit in her car! She fell in love with the Peace region and is a permanent resident now! Between chickens, meat rabbits, horses and dogs there is a never ending to-do list but she would not have it any other way! Growing up training her childhood dogs, two golden retrievers, she very quickly found a passion for training. Working in kennels, SPCAs and alongside trainers, her love for what it takes to make a dog/human relationship last and cohabitate happily was constantly growing. Sports, tricks and behavioral issues are her interests.

She is very excited to give back to this new community she has come to love by helping dogs and their humans live peaceful lives and have fun together!

Melissa Reimer

Melissa is born and raised in Fort St John but left for a short period to gain her science degree majoring in psychology and minoring in biology. She had grown up with farm dogs that did not go into the house further then the porch and had different levels of obedience. When away at school she got a little German Shepherd puppy that turned into quite a handful! Before she knew it she had a adolescent dog that was scared of the world and reactive to almost every dog they ran into.

This is what started this crazy journey and eventually made her fall in love with dog training. This experienced showed her the power of building a connection with your dog as you become a team. Working with the dog versus against.

She is very excited to share her passion and growing knowledge with her community and hopes her story can inspire others to step out of there comfort zone with their dogs!

The 4 legged members of the pack

Nova

Nova is a May 12, 2018 pup who loves doing absolutely anything as long as it means doing it with his humans or if it involves water! He loves agility and did fantastic in his training until he was diagnosed in 2022 with Hip dysplasia in both hips and he had to be retired from agility. He is now loving scentwork, obedience and trick work!

He has competed in some dock diving, scent work and barn hunt- all of which he was enthusiastic and excited to be apart of!

He might be getting close to double digits but his puppy spirit will forever be there!

Flynn

Flynn has had a hard start to life! He ended up in Bandaged Paws Animal Rescue in August 2023 after being picked up as a stray by the pound. He was adopted by Madison in October 2023! He is estimated to have been born around August 2022! Upon adopting, he didnt know his name, any basics like sit or down, how to settle, or even how to just play with a toy! After spending an extensive amount of time building his confidence and teaching him how to just enjoy being a dog and feeling safe in his new environment, he has become an irreplaceable part of the family and we cannot wait to see what life holds for him!

Nova

Nova was born April 21, 2021 and is rounding the ripe age of 4 this spring! Her past times include running at top speeds in circles around her property and going on any adventure she is invited to with her parents.

Nova has attended varying seminars for rally obedience, shutzhund and scent work. Nova thoroughly enjoys a good hike and bikejoring on a nice day.

Nova is pretty much happy as long as her mom is within eye sight and ideally only paying attention to her.

Odin vom Gorka

Odin is the newest member of the Paws On Pack only born August 14, 2024. He is Melissa’s IGP sport prospect and comes from a wonderful breeder in Cranbrook BC called KVG Kennels.

Odin’s hobbies consist of annoying his big sister Nova and the cats, obsessing over all the toys, barking when he does not get his way, and cuddling his favorite person in the world his mom <3

Odin hopes you follow along on his journey of becoming the best boy!
